Setting the Table for Success- Restaurant 101
Credible Consulting and the UW Madison School of Business Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have teamed up to create a new program called Setting the Table for Success: Restaurant 101. The four evening sessions will be packed with vital information for food entrepreneurs and held Wednesday nights from 6:30-9:00 pm at Grainger Hall on the UW Campus. Successful, local food business entrepreneurs from Food Fight Restaurant Group & Banzo will lead insight and experience.The 4 week program runs October 1st-22nd and is ideal for anyone considering starting their own restaurant, café, bakery or food cart or those who need to get on track to greater success.

This 8-week course provides comprehensive education about the methods of running a successful food business. Coursework includes restaurant start-up costs & budgeting, managing your staff, licensing, food safety, menu creation, food and labor cost control, branding & marketing and the most important things to do BEFORE you sign a lease or open. If you are planning on starting a food business or need help making the one you have more successful, this is the course for you! Classes start July 8th at the WWBIC offices and run from 6:30-8:30 pm.
